I have been recently researching Mindfulness.
Mindfulness is a meditation which is when you focus on your thoughts, emotions, sensations which you focus and calmly accept how you are feeling at the present moment and use it as a therapeutic technique. It can reduce stress, anxiety and depression. Its not about getting rid of your feelings and thoughts its about managing them.
A lot of people who practise mindfulness in their daily life set aside a time of day where they do mindfulness meditation where they concentrate on their senses. Anybody can learn mindfulness even children.
There are books, audio cds, courses and videos on mindfulness.
I am reading Ed Halliwells book on Mindfulness at the moment and its really interesting.
